Nusty Space › How do I find my real profit per Amazon product? › What are the limits of the profit calculation?
What are the limits of the profit calculation?
Nusty Space's profit calculation is only as good as its data: it depends on the price and fees read from Amazon and the cost you enter. If one is missing it shows "—". It does not promise profit and does not replace an accountant for taxes.
What are the limits?
- It depends on what the SP-API, Amazon's official interface, returns for your account. SP-API documentation
- Commissions vary, from 10% to 15% according to Amazon, and may change. Amazon selling prices
- Cost is entered by you, and stale cost gives wrong profit. Nusty Space plans
- Taxes enter the selling price and vary by tax regime, per Sebrae; confirm with your accountant. Sebrae pricing guide
Does Nusty Space promise profit?
No. It shows the result of your data and guarantees no gain.
What if Amazon changes a fee?
The value read from Amazon is what counts. If the fee does not arrive, the dashboard shows "—".
What common mistakes should you avoid?
- Treating dashboard profit as a tax figure.
- Not reviewing old costs.
- Expecting the tool to speak for Amazon.
